Gift galore!

It must have been the bonus. I really DO tend to go overboard, as if I’ve bagged hundreds and thousands of dollars.

But no regrets, really. I did blow my budget buying ‘unplanned’ things. But it’s okay. I’ll just cut back on a few other things. Sigh.

Of course it’s all worth it because it’s for the Birthday Gal, my darling daughter. She’s the lucky one because not only i, The Bonus Recipient, splurged on her, but also her atuk, The CPF Recipient and her nenek, The Bonus AND CPF Beneficiary, did. They bought her two gold rings from Poh Heng, one for each hand. I somehow got the urge to further ‘furnish’ her cute ringed fingers with a gold bangle. Luck has it that the bangle cost twice the rings. “Heheh…how i wish my mama gets bonus every month…”

But it’s okay lah. It’s not every month what that her birthday falls on MY bonus day.

Other gifts bagged: a plush elephant toy (Ramli put it on his lap when the pic was taken, and it does look quite suggestive, with the long trunk and all. Not gonna post it.) Shoes from mothercare, two new NUK pacifiers (okay okay so this is A NECESSITY, not a gift), a crystal figurine in the shape of a baby pram, and baby sunglasses (real cute!)

Since we spent SO MUCH TIME shopping for her gifts at Parkway Parade, by the time we were done all the eateries were closed. So where else could we go to but Changi Airport? The gals posing by a heeyuge Xmas tree at Changi.Mama and me. I was sleeping but mama didn’t care.

We had a VERY LATE DINNER at Swensens, and having left with five minutes to make the last order, i of course ended up over-ordering. But the meal was ok (c’mon, it’s Swensen’s, whaddya expect?) and we had lotsa fun. Of course ooyah had to leave her mark by doing her BIG MESSY BUSINESS as soon as we got there, so that sorta killed my appetite. Erm…does anyone notice, it’s MY birthday meal but all i got was SIMILAC while they all got to eat pasta and stuff???
Oh wow. MY birthday meal, eh, and was i included in this picture? Injustice I tell ya! They are using me just to eat lots of good food on the 12th of every month!!!

3 months, and not only has she grown. Her poo has stepped into adult consistency and stench too. Blearrrrghhhh….
