Tonight our whole family went for a very long walk in a very busy place…good thing I was sitting comfortably in my stroller cos my Mama sure looked exhausted. After the very long walk from a very secluded carpark, finally we stopped at a place to watch this.

Okay, so I cried. It was beautiful alright, and you know how much of bright-light lover I am…but it was SO LOUD that I got so scared. And I wasn’t the only one okay. All the babies there were crying too. Even the non-babies cried (some were 3 or 4 years old?) Tsk tsk tsk.
So THAT was done in about 10-15 minutes. After which we trudged back to where we came from with hordes of people. Sheeeeesh. So much trouble for it. I still think my lampu lap-lip at home is more amazing.
Finally we got to Lau Pa Sat where I had lots of fun. It’s just nice, you know, to get to sit down after a loooong walk. Not that I walked lah, but I’m speaking on behalf of my family.

I even played with my Papa for a bit.

Oh come on. Give it to me already, Papa…

You can go play peekaboo yourself. I give up. SO tired from walking okay…
They had lots of nice satay, chicken wings, prawns, rojak, and for me, some thosai. Yummehh.

Okay, I’ll just help myself to this…and let’s dip it in this orangey sauce, shall we?

This one is dedicated to you, Aunty Bavani. Mama thought of you briefly as she gobbled up the juicy succulent sweet satay that you love so much.
If only every Friday was like this! (Minus the frightening loud noises of course!)

Hey Sarah baby
Pass a message to your mama ok? Tell her not to pretend lah – thinking of me and all. Must have been “whacking” the satay (digging her fingers 1 inch deep into it) and making fun of me not being able to get satay. I SHALL BE BACK – and we SHALL HAVE ANOTHER SATAY NIGHT – this time with the babies ok? Promise
And also – all these oldies using you as an excuse to see the fireworks. But you still look cute lah – even though you were scared not long before lau pa sat.
